Little Broken Things is a woman-owned and operated hair salon, art gallery, and consignment shop. Established in 2017, LBT has survived an electrical fire, global pandemic, and relocation, and yet continues to flourish as a small business.
As a salon, Little Broken Things is proud to be doing their part to help the planet. LBT is a certified Green Circle salon for recycling and is partnered with Block Bins to divert landfill waste by composting. Through Green Circle, we are able to recycle 99% of our salon waste which includes everything from hair clippings and foils to excess color and gloves.
As a small business, Little Broken Things understands the importance of giving back to their community and local organizations. That is why LBT regularly donates a portion of their sales to charities such as Howard Brown Health, One Heart One Soul, Greater Chicago Food Depository, Equality Illinois and more. LBT also hosts an annual toy drive with Toys for Tots around the holidays.
